19th century, gold overlaid copper, paying tribute to and invoking the blessing of a sainted monk. Round, 29.5 mm (1.16 in) x 34.6 mm (1.36 in) with bust of the monk and identification on the front. Reverse with a talismanic symbol. Worn as a pendant and rubbed while praying.
